About the workshop
Dear friends! We would like to invite you to join our short, but exciting photo–trip to Budapest, which would take place this September.
We would arrive on Thursday and throughout the first three days will be strolling along the broad avenues, the shore of the Danube river, the cozy narrow cobbled pedestrian streets, plunging into the distinct atmosphere of the different neighborhoods of the city – the jewish, the working class, the district of coffee houses and night clubs. We will visit the flea markets, the ruin-pubs, and will try to feel with our eyes, our stomach and our feet each facet of this unique city.
Each day we would gather up in the hotel to discuss the photos made, to exchange the impressions, and share the experience.
On a Saturday night we would go to the Széchenyi bath – the largest thermal bath complex in Europe, where the key event of the trip will be taking place – a spectacular bath party. That night the age old baths are lit with bright lasers, and turn into a spa-night club, where young people dance the night away in their swimsuits. We managed to get a permission to take photos during the party for the whole group, so we can take great photos, being in the midst of the fun!
After a lazy Sunday morning, we would go for one more walk along the streets of the city, and will meet once again, to sum up the results and to choose the best photos made during the trip.
